What is it about some guys?

Normally I like to think I am cool, calmish, collected, level headed. But what is it about certain guys that just makes you lose your shit? You become all dramatic and over-reactive. All the sudden you are playing games, when you had retired from that sport years ago. Is it the fact that you can't get them to bend to your will? That they are not paying as much attention to you as the guy you could care less about? Is it the chase? And since when do you even like to chase? I like to be chased, not that that ever happens all that often. Is it about winning or controlling? And in the middle of all that can you even recognize if you like the person anymore. Has it just become about proving you can get this guy to like you/commit.
